"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.  Knowledge is limited.
Imagination encircles the world."

Amazing talent...
My brother Tim, was an amazing artist!  Tim's talent was recognized at a very young age.

He was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia in 1958 and passed away unexpectedly in Sacramento, California in 1989.

He served his country in the US Navy and lived and traveled over most of the United States ,including Hawaii.  He took inspiration for his work from the wealth of cultures and scenery.

His art education consisted entirely of personal observation and individual instruction.  He studied ceramics and sculpture under Martha Haidon and Michael Morris of Belgium and Great Britain.

Tim's interests took him into the area of multi-media fine art and in the 1980's he was a featured artist at the Phoenix Art Gallery & Design Center and worked eight years for the Phoenix Art Press.  His work was featured in art publications such as ArtSpace and  Phoenix Home & Garden.  He was a favorite artist among the interior designer community and was a contract artist for Lloyds of London.

Tim was a wonderful "big" brother and a loving son.  He is still greatly missed.

Artistry comes in many different forms... from a skillfully designed building structure, an elegantly designed room, a beautiful painting, a colorful garden, skilled dancers or a fantastic web site design. Enjoy some of what I consider to be amazing talent.
